B2B Contact Privacy Notice
Version: 1.0.0 Effective date: 5 August 2026 Last reviewed: 5 August 2026
This notice is for business contacts who have not created a Beolta account and whose professional information we obtained from a public source or a third-party business-data provider. It provides the information required when personal data is not collected directly from the individual, including under Article 14 GDPR and the UK GDPR.
Our complete Privacy Policy contains additional information, including the detailed retention schedule and subprocessor list.
1. Who We Are
Controller: Editale OÜ, trading as Beolta Registry code: 17430609 Registered address: Narva mnt 7-557, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia Privacy contact: privacy@beolta.com
2. Whose Data We Process and Why
We process limited professional information about two groups:
- Buyer-side Contacts: decision-makers at companies showing a relevant, publicly observable business need. We use the data to research that need, identify a relevant business contact, prepare a match, and make a targeted introduction to suitable service providers.
- Contractor-side Contacts: decision-makers at professional-services firms. We use the data to build and maintain the firm's professional profile, present the firm to relevant buyers, and invite an authorised representative to claim or update the profile.
Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f): operating a relevant B2B matchmaking and sales-intelligence service. We assess that interest against the individual's rights and reasonable expectations. We use professional rather than private contact details, limit outreach, and provide an immediate way to object. We send outreach only where the rules applicable to the recipient, address and communication channel permit it.
You are not required by law or contract to provide this data to us, and we did not obtain it from you directly.
3. Data Categories and Sources
Depending on what is available and relevant, we may process:
- name, professional role and employer;
- business email address and business telephone number;
- public professional-profile URL or identifier;
- employer domain, industry and location;
- public company, hiring, procurement, regulatory or other business signals;
- source, verification, freshness and outreach-status records.
We obtain this information from source categories such as:
- company websites, public professional profiles and public job postings;
- public company, procurement, regulatory, court and permit registers;
- public professional, trade and agency directories;
- licensed B2B contact-data, email-verification and company-intelligence providers.
Examples of providers and public sources are listed in Section 5.2 of our Privacy Policy. You may ask us for the source associated with your record by emailing privacy@beolta.com or submitting our Data Subject Access Request form.
4. Who Receives the Data
We may disclose professional contact data to:
- a limited number of Beolta customers or matched service providers where the contact is relevant to a specific business match;
- service providers that host the platform, deliver communications, verify business contact details, monitor security, or support the matching workflow;
- professional advisers, authorities, or a successor entity where lawfully required.
We do not publish personal contact details openly. The current service-provider categories, named subprocessors and transfer safeguards are described in our Privacy Policy and Subprocessor List.
Some recipients operate outside the EEA or United Kingdom. Where required, we use an applicable adequacy decision, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK Addendum, and supporting transfer assessments as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Retention
We refresh active professional contact data according to source and signal freshness, generally every 90 to 270 days. Buyer-side contact details are anonymised after 24 months without engagement or after the associated company has been inactive for 36 months, whichever occurs first. Unregistered contractor-side contact details are anonymised after 36 months of inactivity.
If you object to direct marketing or request deletion, we stop outreach, remove the active personal data within 30 days, and retain only the minimum suppression record needed to prevent re-import. Cached upstream responses may be retained for up to seven years, but identifying values are redacted following a valid objection or erasure request. The complete schedule and applicable exceptions are in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can object to direct marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP, or contacting privacy@beolta.com. We will stop direct-marketing processing without applying a further balancing test and maintain a suppression record so that the contact is not re-added.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to:
- access the personal data we hold and learn its source;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion or restriction;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive data you provided to us in portable form where processing is based on consent or contract and is automated;
- lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Submit a request through our Data Subject Access Request form or email privacy@beolta.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns you. We normally respond within one month, subject to any different period or extension allowed by applicable law.
